Legal Education Program for Nurse Educators


The Canadian Nurses Protective Society is pleased to offer a new series of webinars through The Legal Education Program for Nurse Educators, for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The CNPS’s Legal Education Program for Nurse Educators supports the mandate of nurse educators who play a key role in preparing the next generation of nursing professionals to be legally informed and to promote a culture of patient safety.  These webinars feature topics specifically chosen by nurse educators who participated in a special advisory group following the webinar series held earlier this year.

Each 45-minute session will examine one key legal issue of relevance to the nursing profession and provide important legal updates. The topics for this academic year are:

Medical Cannabis: What Every Nurse Needs to Know

In this webinar, the legal framework of nursing will be reviewed before examining the concept of delegation and what it may mean for your practice.
