Legal Education Program for Nurse Educators

The Canadian Nurses Protective Society is pleased to offer a new series of webinars through The Legal Education Program for Nurse Educators, for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The CNPS’s Legal Education Program for Nurse Educators supports the mandate of nurse educators who play a key role in preparing the next generation of nursing professionals to be legally informed and to promote a culture of patient safety.  These webinars feature topics specifically chosen by nurse educators who participated in a special advisory group following the webinar series held earlier this year.

Each 45-minute session will examine one key legal issue of relevance to the nursing profession and provide important legal updates. The topics for this academic year are:

Delegation of Responsibilities
March 7, 2019, 14:00 – 14:45 EST

In this webinar, the legal framework of nursing will be reviewed before examining the concept of delegation and what it may mean for your practice.
