CNPS Breakfast

#Nursingvoice: Speaking up without losing sleep
CNPS Breakfast Event at CNA Biennial Convention
Shaw Centre, Ottawa, Ontario - Room 202
June 20, 2018, 7:00 - 8:15 AM EDT

The CNPS invites you to attend its breakfast presentation on risk management in nursing advocacy at the 2018 CNA Biennial Convention. In a health-care environment characterized by limited resources, complex medical conditions and advanced health-care options, nurses face an increasing need to advocate for patients. How can nurses fulfil their ethical obligations without fear of reprimand, unnecessary conflict or, worse, legal complications? Social media is increasingly used to promote social change and social justice. Can it be an effective nursing advocacy tool as well?

Registration in advance is not required. Complimentary breakfast will be provided to the first 100 people.
